806 DOOR AND WINDOW POLYURETHANE FOAM

Akfix 806 is a low expansion polyurethane foam especially developed for the installation of door and window frames. PU foam is designed for use with the help of a pipette.

FEATURES

Thanks to its special formulation, it has an expansion feature lower than 200%.

Since there is no uncontrolled swelling, the foam does not overflow out of the door and window frames. In this way, extra consumption is prevented.

Since its expansion is low, it eliminates problems such as bending and twisting in door and window frames.

Since it expands less, it pollutes the environment less and extra cleaning is prevented.

Excellent bonding and filling properties.

Excellent assembly feature and stability.

Yield up to 45 litres depending on humidity and temperature.  Excellent adhesion to many surfaces (except Teflon, PE, PP).

High filling capacity.

High thermal and acoustic insulation value.

After drying, the hardened foam can be cut, sanded, painted and plastered.

No shrinkage.

Mould proof and waterproof.

It does not contain any propellant gas that can damage the ozone layer.  is in B3 class according to DIN 4102 standard.

APPLICATION AREAS

Installation and insulation of door and window frames.

Filling and insulation of gaps, cracks and holes.  Providing heat and sound insulation.

Insulation of electrical installations, hot and cold water pipes.

As a general purpose filling, bonding and insulating material.

In applications where low expansion of the foam is required.

USAGE METHOD

Application surfaces must be cleaned from dust and oil.

During application, the tin and ambient temperature should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.

For best results, the can and ambient temperature should be between +20 °C and +25 °C.

After placing the pipette into the valve, the can should be shaken well.

The foam is released by pressing the valve with the can upside down.

Since the foam will expand during curing, the gaps should be partially filled.

When your cargo is delivered, if there is a deformation in the package of the product or a situation that may damage the product, open the package with the cargo officer and check the condition of your products. If you see any damage to your products, ask the cargo officer to keep a record and do not receive the package. The products will be delivered to us by the cargo company and the products will be exchanged.
